"Picture This...Imagine That" Group Photo Show

My photography is featured at Coronado's C3 Gallery this summer along with 11 other local photographers and 8 local authors!

The opening artist reception for “Picture This...Imagine That” group photography show was held on June 12, 2018 and was curated and put on by Coronado Arts

The exhibition features local photography by: Riana Bucceri, Daron Case, Kel Casey, Phil Fitzgerald,  Will Holder, Brian Lippe, Dan McGeorge, Belle Mitchell, Bill Sandke, Char Stubel, Elizabeth Wampler and  Anna Woerman.
The exhibition displays books published by eight local authors: Jack Bowen, Joyce Chapman, Leslie Crawford, George Galdorisi, Laura McNeal, Tom McNeal, Tamara Merrill and Ted Nulty.

Crown Town Music Logo and Photos

Meet Matt Heinecke of Crown Town Music.

Matt has over 20 years of professional experience as an accomplished singer and guitarist. 

Matt and I both graduated Coronado School of the Arts together, and we BOTH are now instructors at Coronado School of the Arts! He is the Instrumental Music Department's Director, and I am the Digital Arts Department graphic design instructor. Who would have thought! 

Matt is an awesome and talented musician. After graduating USC, where where he studied classical and jazz guitar and voice, he worked as a singer-songwriter and studio musician in both Los Angeles and Nashville before relocating to Coronado in 2007. Along the way, he developed his own unique style of guitar playing, with influences ranging from folk, classic rock, jazz, country, and bluegrass. Matt has appeared with such musicians as Emmy-winning composer Bear McCreary (Walking Dead), Michael Anthony (Van Halen), Joe Piscopo, and Ricky Lawson.

Matt just launched a site for his new company, Crown Town Music. He needed a logo and some publicity photos, so I collaborated with him and created business cards and took some  photos on Coronado Beach. Check out Crown Town Music's event page to see when he is playing next, or book for your next event!

Just look at this preshie, freshly 1 years old and owning it in Rotary Park in Coronado. I loved photographing this beautiful little girl, and she kept me and my shutter speed on my toes! Here is a sneak peek for her family and friends!

Sheela and Neil Maternity in Coronado- May 2014

Say hello to my gorgeous friend, and her beautiful family too. We had fun taking these maternity pics in a few different locations in Coronado. Coronado's alleys are quite edgy! Only a few years ago I did their first maternity photos in Huntington Beach, when "soon to be big bro" was just a bump! Here is a sneak peek for them!

CoSA/CHS Students Create Summer Safety Brochure for Coronado Community

Our Coronado School of the Arts (CoSA) Animation and Graphic Design students recently collaborated on a "Coronado Summer Safety Booklet" with Coronado's Police Department, Lifeguards and Firefighter Department. The booklet has been distributed to all CUSD schools and also the community just in time for summer.

Students created all original work in this booklet and have entered it in this year's Student Showcase at the San Diego Fair.

D Brothers in Coronado- December 2012

I had the pleasure of photographing these adorable brothers at Spreckles Park in Coronado. They are so cute and full of personality, just check out their solo photos below! Their mom, PJ, is one of my fav and loyal clients. She has commissioned baby painted portraits, pet painted portraits and I photographed her wedding too!
